Packard Radio Delete Story This piece had been hit with a hammer and the glass was completely gone. Inner panels were wrinkled and all attempts to straightened failed. New brass parts were made and re-glazed to match original. Then used a photo taken of an original to match lettering style on inner glass face. Replaced the curved glass outer face, made the plastic disk and trim ring fro the original emblem background. Radios are easier to come by than the radio delete. The man who let me photograph his original also has a NOS piece still in the box. He would NOT consider selling either piece!!
